BSA will conduct Quarterly Summative Assessment

The school is committed to provide the holistic learning and to assess the true capability of learners that will help us to craft appropriate learning intervention. We acknowledge the collaborative effort of every stakeholder to ensure the quality delivery of learning beyond the difficulties of distant education. In sense of that, we want to give our teachers the opportunity to assess their learners to gather the needed data for pair grading. This quarterly assessment will be included at Performance Task. This assessment will focus on the following principles:

a. The assessment should be holistic and authentic in capturing the attainment of most essential learning competencies.

b. Assessment is integral for understanding student learning and development.

c. A variety of assessment strategies is necessary, with formative assessment taking priority to inform teaching and growth and mastery.

The implementation of Quarterly Summative Assessment might vary based on general capability of learners as stated below:
1. Online Quiz (Multiple Choices, True or False, Identification)
2. Performance Based Task
3. Essay Type (Opinion-Based Answer)

BRIMERIAN ARROWS SHOOT MEDALS

​The Archery team was organized with 6 members namely Krypton Joseph Gargaceran, Julia Villanueva, Lou Aeriel Albaniel, Paul Christian Noche, Michaella Oliveros, and Neon Andrea Gargaceran. This team is one of the best performing athletic groups of the school under the supervision of its couch, Ms. Diana Marie Hernandez. They begin their training every weekend at Annex A Club House located near the school. The real challenge in this sport, as experienced in their training, was the development of targeting stability while the wind blows so strong from changing directions.

BSA GOT ITS FIRST GOLD MEDAL IN APSCI MATHEMATICS ENCOUNTER


November 18, 2019 - As part of Brimestone Academy Inc. activity plan for school year 2019-2020, the school sent contestants for APSCI Mathematics Encounter 2019 last November 16, 2019 at Academia De Julia Victoria. Early in the morning, the BSA team with 10 contestants from Grade 1 to 10 and 4 coaches depart the school for the said contest. The team is lead by its Head Coach Ms. Maria Bernadette Fruelda assisted by two coaches, Ms. Abbie Illagan amd Mr. Jose D. Deparon together with one Admin. personnel, Mr. Alvin L. Bedes. 

As the contest begins, all the contestants are requested to go in their designated testing room. The contest is expected to begin at exactly 9:00 AM together with the reading of mechanics and event procedure to the parents and coaches. The team only expect to got the 9th Place for Grade 3(Aaliyah Jesheart S. Acido) and Grade 5(Jamila Francesca Catubay) based on the preliminary report of each of our contestants. However, as the panel of judges starts to announce the winner for each category, BSA Team is shocked when they heard the name of our school in 1st Place of Grade 1(Yohen Drei T. Pardilla). It is the first time that the school got 2 certificates for 9th Place and 1 Gold Medal for 1st Place in one of the prestigious academic inter-school competition in City of Imus organized by Association of Private Schools in City of Imus (APSCI) with 34 participating schools.

BRIMERIANS: MALUSOG AT AKTIBO

​"NUTRITION MONTH 2019"
Every Month of July, each school is celebrating the Nutrition Month and here in our school we do it last July 26, 2019 and this year's theme is "Kumain ng Wasto at Maging Aktibo, Push natin 'to!"

We prepared different activities for the entire day, which we started by Assembly and Preparation followed by National Anthem conducted by Ms. Nheslie Nieva; Opening Remarks from Ms. Paulina Gamboa; Wellness Dance by Ms. Diana Hernandez and selected HS students and ends in cheering by every department....


BRIMESTONE ACADEMY: NEW INNOVATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION


In school year 2018-2019, the Brimestone Academy, through its commitment to provided client-friendly transactions, started some innovations on its document format, assistance to teachers, uses of internet for learning and other interactive ways of learning. Also, the school maintained high standard of Language and Computer literacy. It will expecting that withing few years to come, the school could provided it basic transactions online like enrollment at student monitoring. Further, Brimestone Academy tries all possible way to engage students in meaningful learning as some of its facilities are continuously updating.
